What you will find in a tasting of Joaquín Rebolledo Tinto Barrica:

  • View: garnet red, high layer and good tears.
  • Aroma: elegant and very clean nose. Perfect ripeness of red and black fruits. Liquorice, pepper, toffee, etc. Well assembled wood, spicy mineral notes and very balsamic.
  • Mouth: consistent and long, with sweet and tasty tannins. Good smoothness and structure. Glyceride, round and very long and fragrant aftertaste.

Production of Joaquín Rebolledo Tinto Barrica wine:

Manually selected vintage in boxes. Cold maceration of the grapes (previous passage through the paste exchanger to lower the grapes to 10ºC).

Fermentation of the grapes at a controlled temperature of 25ºC, with two or three daily pump-overs (to achieve the greatest extraction of structure and color from the grape skins). Pressing and final fermentations. The technique of micro-oxygenation is used in the different stages.

Aging in a natural cave from the 18th century in new and 1st year French oak barrels.

Clarifications, filtrations and stabilization of wine for bottling.
